Wah new Bridge in Klang !!

One fella say 230million the other fella say 260 million... 30 million sapu bawah carpet.

Anyway a 3rd bridge is needed to get out of Klang going ot KL but I suspect with the massive development of Klang South like the new JJ and stuff more trafik coming into Klang over the river... Still love the old double decker bridge..... aaaahh the memories of cycling also there was an uncle shop just near it repairing bicycles and now he near Lasalle

SHAH ALAM: A RM230 million bridge across Sungai Klang will be built next year to ease traffic congestion at the two existing bridges in the royal town of Klang.

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo said the federal government had approved the funds for the third bridge and work was schedule to start in the middle of next year.

“The site has been selected and the new bridge will take about three years to complete.”

A Third Bridge Costing RM260 Mln To Be Built In Klang

SHAH ALAM, Oct 18 (Bernama) -- A new bridge costing RM260 million spanning Sungai Klang will be built next year to overcome traffic congestion in Klang town, said Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo.

He said rapid development in the royal town necessitated the building of the bridge, the third for Klang..

"The Public Works Department can have it ready in three years," he told reporters after opening the Selangor Peoples' Progressive Party (PPP) convention here Thursday.

He added that it would be built some distance away from the existing two bridges, which are only about a kilometre apart.
