After my blasting of Malaysia's Most Beautiful and the crap reality based shows that came out after that, I felt truly refreshed over the past 3 Sunday to watch a TV show on 8TV

Firstly One Tree Hill is back ( I blog that later) 2nd is Realiti - The 10-episode series is the work of Popiah Picture's producer Anne Low and director Ng Ping Ho(Kopitiam).“Realiti focuses on what takes place behind the scenes. The idea behind the show is to bring out the fact that there is so much drama behind reality shows,” said 8TV chief executive officer Ahmad Izham Omar after the launch of the series recently."“The series looks at the pressure and conflicts faced by the contestants and budding friendship that happen in real life.


I am awestruck at the depth of this TV series (not comparing to overseas production but this is Malaysian)... it takes a serious look behind the scenes fomr not only the participants, the realities of their lives, the past that comes to haunt them, the coaches dillema, the hounding sometime heartless press... its topclass, on the very 1st episode, one contestant sabotage another to get her out of the competition. Class act!!

Latin Flavour?

Without trying to be the unpaid marketing guy for Bisik, I really like the change or upgrade they like to call it this place is going thru, its actually coming to a year I have come ot known this place and over 3 years I know the Manager back since he was in Summit.

Why its me favourite watering hole? Its a place I can be loud if I want to, hide away if I want to, it hip if it wants to be its somber if you make it be, and there lots of activities.



Fridays now seem to be Latin night, me to a certain extent had been having a shitty week, dun let me start with the weke Jen been having. This was a previous week outing so we decided to have a guys night now... Bisik was introducing a new latin Band, and they are quite good. Jen came with wifey, she kewl, so it was a lovely 3some and almost front row seats. A South African and his band played the night and among the instrument pieces was a trombone. Wacha!!!!!!!

Its always nice hanging out with frens like that coz you can let all the stress oooze out, they dun talk when they dun have to, a shoulder if you ever need one, just let the music hit you and enjoy your drink.

I may not have a lot to offer the world. I can't program computers very well, I can't give you fashion tips. My financial aptitude is roughly above a crackhead's. I do know one thing, however, and that is how to open a beer bottle with a lighter, or really anything I have lying around.

If you drink beer, you need to learn this. If you drink beer and smoke, you should already know this. I can't believe you don't. Goofus is wandering around his friend's house party, searching for a bottle opener. Goofus opens his beer of the side of a table his friend paid two hundred dollars for from ikea. Gallant is hanging out in the "chill" room, opening Goofus' girlfriend's beer with his Bic lighter.

Ingredients/Tools:

1 bottle of beer. Doesn't really matter what kind, even if it's a twist-off. Longnecks are best.


1 Bic lighter. Bic is by far the best lighter you can ever own. Unless you get it stolen, it will last forever. There is no substitute. I am not a brand loyalist about many things, but this is critical. Buying cheap-o lighters at the gas station is never a good deal.


OK, let's start. (I'm going to assume you're right handed, since that's normal and not disgusting like left handed people. So if you're a lefty, obviously switch "right" with "left.")

Grab the beer by the neck with your left hand. The fleshy side of your index finger should be pushed up against the bottom of the bottle cap.



Forcethe lighter between your index finger and the bottle cap. Don't move the index finger to let it in, just force it in there, like you're trying to penetrate a midget virgin. Once it's in there, it should be able to stay on it's own.





Now, grab the lighter, and push inwards and upwards. your index finger is the fulcrum. If you find you don't have the strength, it's not that you're a weak pussy, although that's probably the case. It's because you're not doing it properly. It should hurt your index finger, just for a second, since you're using it as a fulcrum.



The best thing to do is practice. Call in sick to work for a few days, buy a few cases of beer. Keep snorting cocaine to keep from passing out. You'll get it eventually.

One Tree Hill is BACK!!!

Yeah, I know...another One Tree Hill review from me you think, but what can I say... it is my guilty pleasure.

The Characters

We still have all the same main characters from last season, plus a few new additions to the cast. As for the regular characters, here is a rundown...

Lucas Scott played by Chad Michael Murray (A Cinderella Story, Freaky Friday) is the son of Dan Scott and Karen Roe. A basketball player at Tree Hill High with his half brother Nathan.

Nathan Scott played by James Lafferty (Annabelle's Wish) is the son of Dan Scott and Deb Scott. Also a basketball player at Tree Hill High. Husband to Haley James.

Dan Scott played by Paul Johansson (The Notebook, John Q)is still the mean, selfish ignorant....well you get the point... Husband to Deb Scott. Owns a car dealership.

Deb Scott played by Barbara Alyn Woods (Striptease) is the wife of Dan Scott. She is more involved in the story this season than during season one. She does not get along with her husband and would like to get out of his grip.

Keith Scott played by Craig Sheffer (A River Runs Through It) is the older brother of Dan Scott. He is a big part of the story this season... but I wouldn't want to ruin that for you now would I?

Peyton Sawyer played by Hilarie Burton (TRL on MTV) is still the same misunderstood girl she was before, but with more confusion and complication.

Haley James played by Bethany Joy Lenz (Thinner) is wife to Nathan Scott. She is a budding musician in pursuit of her dreams.

Brooke Davis played by Sophia Bush (Van Wilder) has matured more since season one and is a very different character than she once was. Sort of a sad character trying to find her way, she guards her heart so that she won't be hurt.

Karen Roe played by Moira Kelly (The Lion King) is the mother of Lucas Scott. She owns a restaurant called Karen's Cafe and also a club called Tric.

Whitey Durham played by Barry Corbin (The Dukes of Hazzard) is the coach of the Tree Hill basketball team. He tries to help the younger generations of the story find their way when they get lost.

There is also the addition of a few new characters this season, here I will introduce them....

Anna Taggaro played by Daniella Alfonso (As The World Turns) is the neighbor of Brooke Davis. She becomes good friends with Peyton Sawyer and Lucas Scott. But, the girl has a secret....

Felix Taggaro played by Michael Copon (Rumble) is the brother of Anna Taggaro. He is a player with the ladies.

Andy Hargrove played by Kieren Hutchison (Sea of Fear) is the professor of Karen Roe.

Jules played by Maria Menounos (Fantastic Four) is the love interest of Keith Scott. She plays a large part in the story this season.

Jake Jaglieski played by Bryan Greenberg (Prime) is a basketball player for the Tree Hill High team. He has a daughter named Jenny. Peyton has an interest in him as more than a friend.

Nikki played by Emmanuelle Vaugier (Secondhand Lions, Saw II) is the mother of Jenny (Jake's daughter). She disappeared after Jenny was born and now wants her daughter.

Chris Keller played by music artist Tyler Hilton is friends with Haley James and encourages her to pursue acting. He is a troublemaker.

The Story
The story has changed alot from what it was in season one, and it does not revolve so much around basketball as it did. This season is more about relationships as they evolve and change. It is about hurt, friendship, love and loss. Ding ding ding


Why This Show is Nice
This is a show that you can get swept up in. The characters go through so many things that each of us feel every day. It is a show that reveals the loss that people have to face in their lives, and also the greatness that life can bring.

As it was in season one, the music in season two is great, if not even better.

One Tree Hill - non exclusive dating?? waazzup!!!

Brooke Davis is shown to be a rich, popular and promiscuous head cheerleader at Tree Hill High.She takes a liking to Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray), and starts hitting on him in her usual way. Lucas takes it in stride, and does not feel that Brooke wants to be in a relationship with him--- in the following season, she introduced non-excusive dating, a fact L brought up in an sms, game on!! Good one L.

Negotiating the land mine that is the nonexclusive dating lifestyle is an intricate dance that requires a near-impossible combination of cunning, daring, sensitivity, empathy, graciousness, and discretion. It should not be attempted by amateurs. Experience will tell you that you should never, ever expect that the gent or lady you just had a great date with is seeing you and only you. One must always assume that there is at least one other person lurking about in their bedroom. Wheather they can accept this is another story...

Which brings me to my next point: You'll only be able to avoid the subject for so long, and if asked, you should never lie about it. That's just sleazy. If you're dating online, don't lead anyone on by saying you're looking for a relationship. There are plenty of human being out there out there just looking for a nice meal with a nice guy / Or a hot fuck with a sizzling stud (reality check)

If a fren asks you point blank if you're seeing anyone else, tell the truth, but with as little detail as humanly possible. Dun la read the whole drama. Some poeple will ask. Others won't, either because they don't want to know or they don't really care.

My Super Ex-Girlfriend Movie

I cought up wiht L who picked me at KL Sentral for the movie, after a nice dinner we enjoyed the movie... The story is about the guy (Luke Wilson) is coerced into asking a seemingly harmless, pretty young lady (Uma Thurman) out on a first date. Little does he know that she is a vengeful, spiteful, rather overbearing woman masquerading as a normal citizen. Break her heart and she'll break your neck.

Thurman has awesome outfits and is completely believable as the spazzy crazy jealous girlfriend while Luke Wilson is a great timid man. The sex scenes are hilarious, the look on Luke Wilson's face and Uma Thurman's. Luke looks terrified while Uma doesn't even notice.

What carries the film is Uma Thurman's performance. She is fantastic here, winning and sympathetic as a hypersensitive neurotic who is easily devastated. This role could have been flattened were it not for the complete commitment with which Thurman approaches it. Eddie Izzard, as her arch-nemesis Professor Bedlam, also delivers a well-judged performance in another role that toys with superhero convention. Unfortunately, in instances such as when Professor Bedlam begins handing out his business card and dispensing his email address ("Professorbedlam.com. All one word"), the movie seems a bit behind the times in its attempt to mock modern culture (Professorbedlam.com is a URL and not an email address, anyway). Nonetheless, this is one of the better high-concept comedies to appear this year, and it concludes with one hell of a catfight. And everyone loves a good catfight.

L and I had a good share of laughs at this one and L you owe me a movie.

Jnr Vadai Concert 2006

Time has come around again for children's concert, and for Jnr Vadai he been inviting the whole world to come.

If I only knew how to load a clip here I would show you. He damm happy bout giving the welcome speech and even ask me to record it. what the heck, its fun right. I can relate when Twin Peaks aka XXxie talk about her concert for the kids in her kinde.... For a parent it aint cheap, trust me we fork out for Sport day, Concert day field trips.. not complaing , after all its all for him. Never want a moment for him to be left out when it within the means.

So I leave to Klang now to go and celebrate with him, Hope this time for dinner is not McD lol. I think he know he can get away with it (McD) when I am around. aaaahhhh what the heck lol. A kid need discipline and to have fun too.

Sat Seminar - Lovely Pool view

Part of the company's restructuring procedure required the know-how and re-tooling of employees, in short time to push the panic button, so we were rewarded with day long marketing seminar at Holiday Villa Jln Ampang that had not only lovely food but a damm good lovely pool view on the 6th floor. Check the pics out. It was breath taking and it started to pour in the afternoon and I manage to snap a few shots off my Nokia. Mmmmm would love to soak in there... damm syok and relaxing...... overall the training was good and I train them good also, the pool took my breath away. Next coming up 2 weddings and a beach wakaakaka

My merdeka eve with Jnr Vadai

Merdeka came and went and for me it meant another session with Jnr Vadai. There were invited from my KL frens to hang out at Merdeka eve but Jnr Vadai more important and we always try to be together then.

Many a times thru our conversation we had we talk about the upcoming Merdeka bout Malaysia and he is just 5 so the scope of his acceptance is a little limited.. I give thanks, despite the issues and indifferences and unequality, I look at the bright side...despite all the unpleasant happenings around nowadays..still, this is where I'm gonna stay put n would learn to appreciate life as it comes n goes everyday; the reality is it's short.. (I have a png fren to thank for that).

At me age now..., Merdeka day is just another public holiday. I still put up the Malaysian flag off my blacony come August 1st and take it off after Malaysia day(if you do remember when it is), regardless how the politicians harp on issues as stupid as it may seem (lately even so). I put up the flag because this is MY country. The flag is there to remind me and my Jnr that we are MALAYSIANs.

As usualy the kinder that he goes to tought him the national song and he sang it for me. I spend my time with him that weekend. And it was fun. We started off Wed night, he requested for McD so we turun there and he as usualy wanted bits and pieces of everything and dutyfully got him. See how the fella makan, the funny thing with the fella no matter what he doing or eating when you take a pic of him he will come over and see if it is nice or nt... lol

So we headed back home to catch some sleep I was like dead tired he started fidding with my phone to take come pics and in a way I helped him out

I was in luck for such an entitlement when I was call sometime previous week to Bisik for lovely dinner. See for your self what I feasted my self upon, the only person missing from this sesssion was my good buddie Subbie who a food-a-holic hehehehe. Hey Subbie what you think dear.




The icing on the cake after a superb dinner was a lovely glass of this.

The idiots who driving

Well you got idiots and assholes when it comes to driveing. Last week I took this pic and sent it to JPJ ( not that I except them to do anything) this idiot just parked the damm car on the single lane and expect all to more around, that begun a nice jam and tempers flaring.

Here the kicker, the A-hole was sitting in the car. Did not bother to check out if it was a male or a female driver but did it actually matter!!!

Old Speckled Hen

Old Speckled Hen is a strong fine ale named after an unusual, speckled vintage MG car. That label is very noticeable on both bottles and beer pumps in bars that stock Speckled Hen.

So here I was having a beer and was intrigued, we went to Finegans and tried a wide assortment of beer and this one was one of the best. Hey it was free who am I to complain.... my 2 Glasses hahahaha heaven!!!

The Plane The Plane

Like a scene out of Fantasy Island (for those who are old enough to remember) Tatoo the host's Assistant shouting The Plane! The Plane and lo behold in the center of KLCC was a plane. Something I could not miss the opportunity to take a pic of it while I was there. An awesome sight the place used as a object to lure shoppers to look at watches or a better english word timepieces hahaha....still the plane!! the plane!!

R frens really ur fren when they are blind?

There are times in my life when people often misjudge me, maybe I do not open myself enough, maybe I reveal myself in portions that allow them to judge me, there again people will be people. I could never emplace the trust I have on people like before, I have changed but that is me.

Last night was wonderful, I went to beach with the joys of a lovely Saturday afternoon... devil and xxixe formed the party of 3 .... it was a lovely evening each being our own and on ourselves but in a group, that was meant to be, we had laughter and I watch Liverpool slam in 3 beautiful goals. The arrival of a 4th shook me a little, honestly it shook more then I expected myself. I may not have been more different then the 4th that arrive but when it came to stand up , I stood and faced what I need to faced. Maybe because I have been in that shoe I resented it more, for watever reason it affected me.

Nevertheless it was a lovely night, and Liverpool won. I received a disturbing SMS from a fren about my past. Never expected that maybe instead of turning the other cheek it was time to cut ties with this person I called a fren.

Sunday was similar with meeting some frens for bfast and lazing back to watch Alexander. The ghost of the past evening began to eat into me. The turning point was the phrase "jaga hati", this is someone I consider close to and know my history and yet used a phrase in a manner not realizing event that had takes place in my life, was quick to draw a conclusion based merely on my past and from current reading of my blog and blogs of my frens. (Wont be the 1st time)

Am at crossroads of closing the door shut or soldier on. In recent time I opened new forms of comumunication but still at the opportunities to move forward they choose the past to weigth the scale. How hard can one try if the ability to believes lies only in the past?

The present is left to judge for it self. I write this for thoes who read and assume coz words do not matter any more neither do action. The ball lies in the other court.

My strength to move forward is there the choice will be of my fren to walk the path I choose. No more room for comment, the clarion has sounde to toe to the line or get out of my life, in the end the ability to choose lies in you.

Wow its 1 year

Today is the 1-year anniversary of this blog. When I started this blog I had no idea what I wanted to do with it and what focus it would take. I jump on the band wagon of my frens and chatters having and maintaining blogs. It seems after a year it is a mish mosh of things with a little bit of me mixed in. I have done over 400 post and some aint pretty, I made new friends thru my blog and some enemies too...whats the heck its a free world.

But I can happily report that for the most part, the folks on the blog end I've met have quite social, rounded personalities and a few odds and enders. Most are simply everyday folks who had a penchant for observation and a desire to communicate to a broader circle. Others have rather esoteric, interesting backgrounds and look for a venue to communicate their work to a much broader audience. In either case, this is all Good Stuff - when you strip away all the other mumbo jumbo of life, friends & family are the most important thing you've got left and blogging's had a positive impact on this all around.

Blogging has, however, let me indulge my passions in areas outside of my work. Like I said in my first article, I've always had a deep interest in just about anything (mat kepoh) but I have never shyed away form confrontration, accusation, misinterpretation and ididots who use me or my comment or my blog as a weapon against me or my friends.

Due to blogging, my thoughts are more well formed, crisp, and, groomed for the savage beating of Internet intellectual opinion. I'm thus well armed for conversation at the bar or office water cooler.So, I've learned something new, met some new folks, fleshed out a few interests and participated in a new, emergent social phenomena...an online dairy.... All at a cost of about 20-30 min a day. As a hobby, I think it's something I can see sticking with for at least another year ;-)

The weekend Part 2

Came back bout 4 and took a nap, evening went to pasar malam. That night the Chariot came out. Why? Coz it was Vinayagar Chaturthi.... (So no double moon)

Vinayagar Chaturthi is grandly celebrated in Malaysia. All Vinayagar temples celebrate this festival. Other temples also often celebrate it, especially if there is no Vinayagar temple in that area. Vinayagar Chaturthi falls on the 4th day of the new moon in the month of Aavani (August-September).

It was lovely, they had Urumi Melam(drums and trumpet) and Coconut breaking and the chariot was pulled by people on a long rope and 2 cows, awesome

Why celebrate?
Legends say that, lord Ganapati was created by goddess Parvati, wife of Lord Shiva. She has created him with the dough she used for her bath, as she had needed one door-keeper while she takes bath. For this Goddess Parvati had created one doll first and breathed life into him. And this day is known as the birthday of lord Ganesha. It is also said that, while Goddess Parvati was taking her bath Lord Shiva happened to come there and as Ganesha didn't know him, he didn't allow him to enter the house. As a result Lord Shiva got angry and he beheaded Ganesha. But after realizing the real fact lord Shiva fixed the head of an elephant in place of Ganesha's head and thus the appearance of Lord Ganesha with the head of an elephant happened.

Another most popular legend found in Skanda Purana says, once Ganesha was invited for a feast in Chandralok. The god, known for his ravenous appetite, stuffed himself with laddoos. When he got up to walk after the meal, he could not balance because of his huge stomach and stumbled. As he fell, his stomach burst and all the laddoos came rolling out. The moon could not contain himself and began laughing. Enraged, Ganesha cursed the moon, causing him to vanish from the universe. However because of the moon's absence, the whole world began to wane. So the gods asked Shiva to persuade Ganesha to relent. The moon also apologized for his misbehaviour. On Shiva's intervention, Ganesha modified his curse. He announced that the moon would be invisible on only one day of a month and would be partially seen for the Ganesha Utsav most part.
