I want people to go and see it, just a thoroughly class movie. Excellent acting, particularly between Smith and his son, depeciting a very harsh reality of life at that time. Please take the time to watch this movie, whether you think about the message it portrays or not and believe me there are a lot.
i really enjoyed watching this movie and would highly recommend any single parent, father or mother, who have struggled to make ends meet to see this movie.
there are parts in the movie that allow you to feel the pain and frustration he is feeling in the movie. all the questions and problems they are dealing with aren't any different than what every person in this country is dealing with in one form or another.
Walking around with no money in ur wallet, trying to make ends meet wiht 2 jobs, putting aside ur shame ot borrow monet, trying t to hold you head thru life. god so many phases I could relate to.
On another note it was great to meet Kalai Beem and the rest of the group. New buddy met KLfundude who is not from KL... go figure haaha we had Brickfields road side chee cheong fun!!! Yummy
