Transformers - Review Without Spoilers

I just got to see the movie on the THX screen with three hundred and ninety nine others something like that and all i can say is when the credits started to roll the whole crowd including me applauded and cheered.. was just BRILLIANT, it keeps things moving at a blistering pace, slowly revealing the auto bots and decepticons peace by piece ensuring each set piece out does the last.

Wishing I owned the toys and having watched the series from childhood I had misgivings when I first heard about this movie. Having constant chat with Jen bout the movie the figurines all lead to this moment. Seeing some of the heroes of my youth really move and fight, thanks to the visual effects of today, was literally a dream come true. Watching the transformers logo in the sky, the OP transforming for the 1st time MAGIC!!!!

OH MY GOD!!!!!
I wanted to stay in my seat and tell them to run the damn movie again! Autobots!! rollout!!!

The movie is also very human, a very nice synergy between the CGI and human, again watching Optimus transform for the 1st time gave me goose bumps,, watching Ironhide coming to form was awesome. Overall despite the fact the Decepticons lost their personality, they're just mainly destroying n killing machines, Megatron and Starscream are more complex characters like they're featured in the movie maybe next sequeal

Go fucking watch it!!!

Nice

Maggie McGlone: Hell, I've always been old Ben. Ya' know what though, I don't mind. I mean if my muscles ache, it's because I've used 'em. It's hard for me to walk up them steps now, its 'cuz I walked up 'em every night to lay next to a man who loved me. I got a few wrinkles here and there, but I've layed under thousands of skies with sunny days. I look and feel this way, well cuz I drank and I smoked. I lived and I loved, danced, sang, sweat and screwed my way thorough a pretty damn good life if you ask me. Getting old ain't bad Ben. Getting old, that's earned.

OOoorah!!!!

NEWSFLASH - WWE wrestler Chris Benoit and family found dead

Fucked up news

Christopher Michael Benoit (May 21, 1967June 25, 2007) was a Canadian professional wrestler who performed in Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, and World Wrestling Entertainment.

Authorities also said they are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths of Benoit, his wife and their 7-year-old son who were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide.

Benoit, 40, was discovered dead in his home in suburban Atlanta by Fayetville police yesterday – a day after he no-showed two scheduled matches in Texas over the weekend, including at World Wrestling Entertainment's Vengeance pay per view event in Houston Sunday night. He cited a family emergency as the reason for skipping the shows.

After friends in WWE received several "curious text messages" from Benoit, and WWE officials were unable to reach him, the sheriff's department in Peachtree City, GA went to Benoit's home to check on his family about 2:30 p.m.

-------------

Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his 7-year-old son and placed a Bible next to their bodies before hanging himself with a weight-machine pulley, authorities said Tuesday.

Investigators found anabolic steroids in the house and want to know whether the muscle man nicknamed “The Canadian Crippler” was unhinged by the bodybuilding drugs, which can cause paranoia, depression and explosive outbursts known as “roid rage.”

GO FIGURE!!!!

Robots in disguise

Hype !!!!!!!!

Born in 84, Transformers toyline was promoted through both a comic book by Marvel Comics and an animated series produced by Sunbow Productions. Although the comic outlived the animated series by a number of years, it was the animated series that truly captured the hearts and minds of children, including me self and a world wide audience more so than any other piece of Transformers media from its twenty-three year history. With the original show's conclusion in 1987, original series exclusive to Japan were created which ran until 1990, and the franchise was later re-imagined with the fully CGI Beast Wars in the late 1990s. The current run of cartoons have been co-productions between America and Japan bla bla bla

After much sceptism, debate a .Micheal Bay movie open esok in Kay Ell and it set to rock the show, tickets are soled out in a movie which is bacially the battle between good and evil. Forget the human characters, forget the babes on display, this is the war between machines and go watch the machines, machines with heart!!!

Go see Optimus Prime leader of the autobots, Megatron the leader of the Decepticons hubba hubba hubba also Starscream, bumble bee if got l, I hope they will bring the characters to life the way the TV series did

1984, The Transformers began with a three-episode miniseries (later titled More Than Meets the Eye) that introduced audiences to Optimus Prime, Megatron and their armies, as they travelled from the metal world of Cybertron to Earth in search of new sources of energy....... go watch the movie, I know I will

Father's Day

It was an interesting FD for me as it came at the tail end of the exhibition(blog bout that later), we de-mobbed and I high tailed out of there after rewarding the team back to the open arms of Jnr Vadai.

FD has always been under rated and came on the heel of Mothers' day but for a typical dad it aint a big deal. Our was kewl as we slumped into watching a movie and catching up just like any other ordinary day.

It was fun to be with him

Making choices

"The past can be a terrible weight bound to you by an unbreakable chain. You can drag it with you, forever looking over your shoulder at what holds you back. Or you can let it go and move forward. Its your choice"

When I started out the year never have I imagined all that happened to me thus far would have happened to me, work, life, family, friends, I would have never

Dad always had 2 favorite lines,"why"and the second more effective "I was sad I had no shoes till I met a man with no feet"

I am still moving forward, something may have changed but that does not change who I am, just a manner of being truthful to my self and tackling the challenge head on.

Vadai fights!!!!

Horns blaring

The spillover effect of the last blog was long over

Along the sidelines of the exhibition, this was one of the critical event along with another.

"Friendship is delicate as a glass, once broken it can be fixed but there will always be cracks"

"Men kick friendship around like a football and it doesn't seem to crack. Women treat it like glass and it falls to pieces"
-Anne Lindbergh - Sent in by Sandy Macbeth

Along the lines on how guys and gals handle friendship and relationships they both expect the other to know what the feel. Quite true but more in fact they except the oppposite to know instead of trying to get them to know.

I have found that some times being brutally honest has its benefits at the same breath limiting people to what information they should and should not know also beneficial... just a matter of perspective.

In the end of the day, you stilll have to live

We are not bad friends

Its been a while since I blogged and in the hectic pace and bustle of the exhibition and functions and travelling from Port Klang more often then not, this blog is picking on one event which has lead me to lose a dear friend.

I have never held people back or try to dictate, control or influence them in which way of life that choose but I will be dammed when I am accused of that and expect not to defend myself.

Take a good look at a glass half empty and half full before making statements that slam you for something your not. A fren of a fren accused me of being a bad influence to her, the statement was not just to me but a few of us who was online, particularly 3 of which 2 of us are very close. I repeat very close.

So here he comes and goes and makes a statement to a good effect say she made a bad choice as a fren in us and we are bad influence on her!! HELLO!!! wtf!!

Knowing how words can get misconstrued and misunderstood I told him to watch his mouth and then asked him directly what he implied. He confirmed the statement and laid it to bare.
Then it went ballistic. ( we all got our version bout what happened but I am not interested in debating but the point in fact is, that statement is uncalled for)

The point in fact was someone making a critical and damaging statement on her frens and not a second was spent to defend us. Excuse me!!! life does go on but if we are ever labeled as bad friend I dun care who you are but I will defend my self.

Whats sad and shocking was with all the history, time and events we had gone thru, we were bad influence on her, again not an ounce was done to correct that. That sad.

Within our group of fren we were shocked and sad by this, something totally unexpected, especially from her. I am resigned to let her go her way even though we were accused for something we were not. You cant turn words any other way for convenience, what was said is said.

There are 2 quotes here which I want to use to point out

One of the surest evidences of friendship that one individual can display to another is telling him gently of a fault. If any other can excel it, it is listening to such a disclosure with gratitude, and amending the error.-- Edward Bulwer-Lytton
(not have someone who dun know us at all make statements on your behalf)

“Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends.”

Jen said the best, in the end guys like us will still be around to pick the pieces for ex-frens like there. Thats how we are molded.

I dun know how prioritise which and what but lots of this have takesn place which I hope to confide in here in good time.

2. Family member taken ill, has resulted me in daily shuttles

3. Me falling ill, growing old.

4. June 1, came and went and I guess I am my journey

5. A but miffed the way people conduct themselves at a function but we take it with a pinch of salt, why? coz of friendship

6. Having literally baited into an argument then having the tables turned, a jolly wall played game that resulted a fren having to choose a way of life.

7. Being called a bad fren

8. Being cynically baited on what constituted good sex and have that turned on you
(too many tables being turned)

9. Challenging a former fren to admit their mistakes

10. Drawing blood

11. iMAX

and I am still standing here... I think Jen said it best, we are just too nice and we still be around to pick the pieces when they crash
