signing corporate cards can be a real chore especially if it is last minute...... not enough with the tasks that land on your table this will be a chore.

More so when you have to sign for multiple companies so much about being shared resources

at the end of the day the corporate card are window dressing to build business

When friends dont add you

In the ever fast growing world of IT and networking and mobile communication, network portals from Friendster, Hi5, MYSpace, Facebook etc etc there just so many of them wave after wave, we are often overly concern sometimes even paranoid who we should add or not.

I reflect back to Junior vadai making friends and losing friends as simple as I dont wanna friend you. Weird but simple there is no wars, not guilt no sleepless nights on why so and so dun want to friend me.

As we grow older the who? the why? the why not? must be answered, we need defining answers if not it would almost be the end of the world.

So happen someone I know has added me in such a network and wanted to add another gal she decline and suddenly I am getting the why? why not? why cant add ???

My answer is simple, stop being a brat, stop complaining if they add you fine if they dont

ITS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD

Something to ponder

"Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything."

Buka Puasa

There a couple of criteria that are critical to a successful gathering or in this care a buka puasa session

The crime scene was the Dynasty Hotel

The Assailants were Commie, DOM, Vadai, TP, Ais, Brian, Svejjen and Mrs Svejjen.

Unfortunately more could not make it but we are thankful to Brian who managed to secure us a 50% discount due to advance booking and advance payment.

The food was good but we were all having a gala time laughing and joking till we were tearing Ais was melting Brian and DOM was clawing the table in jealousy, it was a riot.

COM and DOM took strategic positions to make eye contact with Ais but Brian ended up being the victims

Great times again good food.... we go out again

Typical Drama

kansas city shuffle

Can be used in relation to anything involving distraction and misdirection by which you get everyone to look one way, while whatever you're doing involves going the other way. When everyone else moves right, you move left. That is what a Kansas City Shuffle is.

A con in which a combination of distraction and subterfuge cause the mark to turn their attention away from the plot which proceeds in the opposite direction.

David Gray - As I'm Leaving

You got to feel this song

Artists > David Gray > As I'm Leaving

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FujxM71Hc3c

As I'm leaving
A change comes on my eyes
These streets persuading me
With mumbles strange goodbyes

And through the water
Through the ring
To the soul of everything
Throw my heart out
On the stones
And I'm almost gone

And there's no meaning
In clothes and coffee cups
Cheap hotel furniture
Where silence never stops
And through the water
Through the ring
To the soul of everything
Throw my heart out
On the stones
And I'm almost gone

And now I'm dreaming
I'm staring at the walls
At cars all frozen now
In late night waterfalls

And through the water
Through the ring
To the soul of everything
Throw my heart out
On the stones
And I'm almost gone

this one hits home

This song was on Ladder 49. The movie was a bit on the sad side yet it was alright. It was a very good song for the movie. It fitted perfectly into the whole story. Its excellent.

One of my faves when you dont't know what to do with your life...for me the song describes how you seem to fade away off the world sometimes...when you "dream" into something other than the world you live in

A ring is a ring

The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart, and usually surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). The expression which was associated with these symbols in the giving of the ring was: "With my hands I give you my heart, and crown it with my love."

The way that a Claddagh ring is worn on the hand is usually intended to convey the wearer's romantic availability, or lack thereof. Traditionally, if the ring is on the right hand with the design facing outward and away from the body, this indicates that the person wearing the ring is not in any serious relationship, and may in fact be single and looking for a relationship. When worn on the right hand but with the design facing inward toward the body, this indicates the person wearing the ring is in a relationship, or that "someone has captured their heart". A Claddagh worn on the left hand ring finger, facing outward away from the body, generally indicates that the wearer is engaged. When the ring is on the left hand ring finger and facing inward toward the body, it generally means that the person wearing the ring is married.[1]

Forever KOP

Let me spell it out

Liverpool 2 Man U 1

Benitez’s men came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory at Anfield this afternoon, giving them an early psychological blow in the title race.

The win was secured despite Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres being too unfit to start the game and Benitez was particularly pleased with how deep his side were prepared to dig to earn a crucial three points.

"It's great," Carragher told Sky Sport."It's been too long and it's not just the three points. It's also the belief and confidence it gives us, because we've beaten the best team in Europe. It gives us the belief that we can beat anyone in the league."We hope we can now push on for the rest of the season. It should spur us on, because we've not been playing too well up to now. That is the best we've played today."It also gives us a bit of breathing space between us and United, and top is where a club like Liverpool should be."

By the way Happy Birthday Maria

Giving advise

"He said, son, Ive made a life out of readin peoples faces,
And knowin what their cards were by the way they held their eyes.
So if you dont mind my sayin, I can see youre out of aces.
For a taste of your whiskey Ill give you some advice."

Giving advise is many a time easy, heck every tom dick and harry is ever ready to give you advise they feel i they know it all and ready to make sure you lend them you ear.

Push away all the hot air when you get down to the nitty and gritty when you give advise to the people who you care for or they end up asking for advise there are times those adviwse going to end up coming to bite you head on.

What do you do? Do you avoid? give the wrong advise? Or stare out in the crowd and give the truth the way it should be?

even if the truth in the advise will have implications on you? hmmmmm

The Soloist - hope I get to watch this

The film is based on a true story of Nathaniel Ayers, a musician who becomes schizophrenic and homeless. Jamie Foxx portrays Nathaniel Ayers, and Robert Downey Jr. portrays Steve Lopez, a columnist who discovers Ayers and writes about him in the newspaper.

Nathaniel Ayers, a musical prodigy who developed schizophrenia during his second year at Juilliard School. Ayers becomes homeless in the streets of downtown Los Angeles, playing the violin and the cello.

must watch must watch

Old Parr

Thomas Parr was an English man who supposedly lived for 152 years, often referred to simply as Old Parr, or Old Tom Parr. The Scotch whisky brand Old Parr is named after him and recounts his claimed birth and death years on its label.

REVIEW
Named after the "oldest" (supposedly the oldest) man to have lived in England, Thomas Parr, the Grand Old Parr was an unknown whisky for me until I watch my uncled having a glup of it when i was young, it is not an easy bottle to get and during my trip I manage to land my hands on this single malt whisky, its a 12 year blended whisky that is as good if not better than any of the other mass market blended whiskies out there. It's presentation is totally unique. It is generally sold in a gold box and always in a square brown bottle with an interesting texture on the outside. Side note: I have often thought of building a small table lamp out of the bottle.

On ice, this whisky can satisfy you all night. It holds up well, and does not get boreing. Where you really notice it's beauty is when you run out, and have to switch to something like Johnnie Walker Black Label; there is no contest, as the Grand Old Parr stomps all over the Johnnie.

wise words

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink I feel shamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.' ~ Jack Handy

'
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they
wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're
going to feel all day. '
~Frank Sinatra

WARNING:The consumption of alcohol may create the illusion that you are tougher, smarter, faster and better looking than most people.

'When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.'
~ Henny Youngman

WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may lead you to think people are laughing WITH you.

'24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence?
I think not.'
~ Stephen Wright

WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may cause you to think you can sing.

'When we drink, we get drunk.

When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When we commit no sin, we go to heaven.
So, let's all get drunk and go to heaven!'
~ Brian O'Rourke

'Beer is proof that God loves us and wants
us to be happy.'
~ Benjamin Franklin

WARNING: The consumption of alcohol is a major factor in dancing like a retard.

'Without question, the greatest invention in the
history of mankind is beer. Oh, I grant you that the
wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does
not go nearly as well with pizza.'
~ Dave Barry

And saving the best for last, as explained by Cliff Clavin,
of Cheers. One afternoon at Cheers, Cliff Clavin was explaining the Buffalo Theory to his buddy Norm.
Here's how it went:

'Well ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates
the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few drinks
