If this does not move you then I got nothing to say.....
Paul Potts - He is a mobile phone salesman. Still reading this?? From July the 37-year-old, who was struggling to pay bills at his Port Talbot home before his opera singing skills were discovered, is fronting movie, internet and TV adverts.
Take a minute and watch this... makes your heart feel good! Watch the faces of the judges as this guy walks out on the stage. You can almost see what they are thinking as they pre-judge this guy based on his looks and the fact that he is a cell phone salesman.
So much for First impressions!

The piece from Turandot
As the final act opens, it is now night. Calaf is alone in the moonlit palace gardens. In the distance he hears Turandot's heralds proclaiming her command. His aria begins with an echo of their cry and a reflection on Princess Turandot:
Italian Text
Tu pure, o, Principessa,
nella tua fredda stanza,
guardi le stelle
che tremano d'amore
e di speranza.
Ma il mio mistero è chiuso in me,
il nome mio nessun saprà!
No, no, sulla tua bocca lo dirò
quando la luce splenderà!
Ed il mio bacio scioglierà il silenzio
che ti fa mia!
(Il nome suo nessun saprà!...
e noi dovrem, ahime, morir!)
Dilegua, o notte!
Tramontate, stelle!
Tramontate, stelle!
All'alba vincerò!
vincerò, vincerò!
English Translation of "Nessun Dorma"
Nobody shall sleep!
Even you, o Princess,
in your cold room,
watch the stars,
that tremble with love and with hope.
But my secret is hidden within me,
my name no one shall know...
No!...No!...
On your mouth I will tell it when the light shines.
And my kiss will dissolve the silence that makes you mine!...
(No one will know his name and we must, alas, die.)
Vanish, o night!
Set, stars! Set, stars!
At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win!
Just before the climactic end of the aria, a chorus of women is heard singing in the distance:
- "Il nome suo nessun saprà... E noi dovrem, ahimè, morir, morir!"
-
- (English translation: "No one will know his name... and we will have to, alas, die, die!")
-
Calaf, now certain of victory, sings:
- "Dilegua, o notte! Tramontate, stelle! Tramontate, stelle! All'alba vincerò! Vincerò! Vincerò!"
-
-
- (English translation: "Vanish, o night! Set, stars! Set, stars! At daybreak I shall win! I shall win! I shall win!")

3....
To be exact 2 years 361 days and 1473 postings later (not including this) here I am in my blog journey.
To this day I have not changed - about me, its the same old words I used then and subscribe to now.
It was in 5th of June 2005, a dear fren of mine both chat and irl Ravenmarie had started her blog, as much as I was intrigued by it and that being an in thing, it seem like a great idea then and till now it still a great idea.
Above all this is a personal blog and come Aug 30th it will be 3 years. Let see how long this run goes
Dinner? Supper? - Station1 Cafe
Geee in Klang I seem to be sleeping less, drinking less, having later dinners, driving around all over Klang and hanging on the phone too much, maybe KL lifestyle is not too bad after all, work - party- sleep - work hmmmm hahahahah
Anyway after the shuttling of moving the MYVI, then sending off my BIL and my mum to my sis place, Jnr Vadai already KO with the mum, I headed off to my supper date and boy was I hungry, so hungry I had mashed potatoes and chef's salad.
No no i did not take a pic of the salad coz not worth it but the mashed potato with ice cream coffee and strawberry milkshake (there goes the diet), the chats were awesome the ambiance was good, the music was great.
Jet T seem to have a better selection of the food compared to station ! but heck it was paid for yes yes FOC, so the teksi service ended at 2am and it was time to catch up on sleep as I was so sleepy
The ironic thing as I reach home I was wide awake, tried to sleep on the single bed too much mosquitoes, took my revenge on the nyamuk and totaly had a chemical warfare with them - I think 1/2 a can dah spray already - the irritating thing is after all the spraying one sucker mosquito still flying about, did the next best thing stalked it and ended it life - yes yes I am a murderer, sue me hahaahaha.
Went for a walk and came back god knows what time then I was able to sleep like a rock till the buzzer went off at 6am hmmmmm
MYVI - Plastic Surgery
My Beloved MYVI finally went for the cosmetic surgery after my sis took me to the work shop on Sat morning, I was shuttling around in my trusty Nissan that I need to plan with Svejjan to put into action, but that another story. Being quoted for the whole body work and touch up here and there I was satisfied with the Quoted Price of RM650
so in it went and last last night after my meetings at the office, grabbed my BIL collected the car, the poor fella was driving every so carefully ( I do trust him with the car) back tothe apartment.
Finally had a good look at it in the morning and the workmanship seem goos and the water trails seem almost perfect.

Hockey - Father & Son Part 2
It was raining all evening all over KL and and Klang but did not want to disappoint Jnr Vadai, I told him bout the rain and it was raining badly he cant play, but he was optimistic saying maybe its not raining there. We headed on to KL in the trusted Nissan he kept looking at the sky and keeping quiet. We hit the stadium and the weather opened up a little, we warmed up and had a good fun bout 20 minutes before the game begun. As it had started to drizzle he
Thru the game he sat on the bench and did not get wet. We played 3 halfs fo 20 minutes and by the 17th minutes I had scored a goal, he was cheering, Jas to a crack across the face of goal as it was heading outside i lunged in with a semi dive ( East German Gymnastic Judge gave me 5.6 only) and deflect the ball into the roof top.
During the half time break I brought him into the turf and played with him and he took a few shots at goal, It started raining back again and he retreated to the bench.
2nd and 3rd half was a tale of missed chances and sloppy ball handling at my part, a couple of got shots, deflection saved by the keeper finally an acute angle shot missing by inches.
When the rain let up during the game Jnr Vadai went out again playing and enjoying him self.
Game adjourned and I got a big big High 5 from Jnr Vadai and we headed to the shower, he kept talking bout the goal I scored and few I missed, we had a great time and it was not just matching socks hehehehe
We do this more often

11AM TO 10.30PM
The restaurant setting is very nice....with individual huts and all... of all the restaurants in TG this is one of the more famous ones, seriously I would not know if it is the best as I have not had the opportunity to try the other (anyone want to belanja me dinner)
Sso all in all, this is a pretty good place to dine. the service is good and the food is reasonably priced and yummy. and setting is something different. back to nature kind of thingy..It can accommodate bout 5000 ppl but you may have to wait a while for your food
So Ruben who had never cut a cake since childhood decided to buy us dinner and a celebration of sorts on a personal invite me Jnr Vadai and the immediate family went for dinner there, too big of a crowd too small of a serving ordered and by the end we were feasting on toddy then eating, heck no complaints there
Had Jnr Vadai by my side most of the time was setting things up for him and peeling the prawns and the breaking the crabs for him, he loves both then came the cake cutting and we all went home lol.
The weather was cold as it was still drizzling, next time must make trip with smaller groups

Hockey - Father & Son
To Quote "Close proximity to fathers has always been healthy for sons, whose energies then can resonate with those of the older men. A boy should eventually learn to identify with the male rather than with the mother – for he will, after all, grow up to be a man himself."
Jnr Vadai andI always had time to play games and this school holidays were no different, later on we be heading to hockey together
Welljollylads
Visiting and Impromptu Dinner
As such were in Klang Jaya bout 6.30 and ended up have a superb but sometimes intellectual discourse bout anything and everything, my aunt the darling she is (whom I learned shockingly gonna retire in a couple of months) whipped some Uppuma and there was chicken there so it did not take a lot of convincing to stay back for dinner and the icing on the cake was when my cousin brought out the Salted fish pickle slurp!!!!!!
All this glorious food mmmmmm BURP!!!
Supper in Klang past 1am hmmmm
I went here once with my sis BIL and aunt. Kind of a warm and cozy place with no dedicated age bracket, all age groups were open. they got games and table games for you to play for and nice atmosphere with good music to hear. Most of the time is it the oldies and nice to flashback.
So when I picked up a dear old fren at 1am for supper and what nots we drove around Klang looking for place to eat actually and not being in Klang for long and not wanting to go into town, we drove past Taman Petaling, Bayu Perdana finally ended in Bukit Tinggi we stop by a Chinese stall based restaurant but they were packing up for the night. So then I recalled this cafe and we headed there coz its open till 2am.
We had the Bali special and chicken spagetti both delicious but could not eat much. The ice lemon tea left a memorable taster but the Jasmine tea was nice. I was bowled over by the spagetti but the rice I ordered was not too bad it self.
Over a lovely supper and yummy, that left the night open (well mornign actually) for exploration hahaahaha

Test 2 - Robbie
A beautiful song..Road to Mandalay by Robbie Williams
Save me from drowning in the sea, Beat me up on the beach
What a lovely holiday, Theres nothing funny left to sayThis sombre song would drain the sun, But it won't shine until its sung
No water running in the stream, The saddest place we've ever seen
Everything I touched was golden, Everything I loved got broken
On the Road to Mandalay, Every mistake I've ever made
Has been rehashed and then replayed, As I got lost along the way[Refrain]
There's nothing left for you to give, The truth is all that you've left with
Twenty paces then at dawn, We will die and be rebornI like to sleep beneath the trees, Have the universe at one with me
Look down the barrel of a gun, And feel the Moon replace the SunEverything we've ever stolen, Has been lost returned or broken
No more dragons left to slay, Every mistake I've ever made
Has been rehashed and then replayed, As I got lost along the way[Refrain]
Save me from drowning in the sea, Beat me up on the beach
What a lovely holiday, Theres nothing funny left to say
This is a great song, I especially like the contrast between the upbeat, cheery music and the sadness of the words - this is someone who lives in the public eye and has every little mistake he makes scrutinised and 'rehashed and then replayed' by the press. There's a sense of desperation about it as he feels lost and almost as if he's come to the end of something. Truly beautiful.
Barong Tagalog

God it hurts everywhere
After the second workout from a 3 week layoff the body already screaming for a break, despite the rainy and cold weather I decided to press forward with 3 sessions, after the gradual warm up went the first 20 minutes with good off the ball running but the recovery rate was lesser then expected,
The next 20 minutes the started to drizzle again and a little windy, I stuck to basic running without the stick. For the final 30 minutes was all out workout on the field side to side off the ball running creating space. Worth it, till I got home!!! Then the aches started
Made my calls to loved one and was feeling the ache, has a shot of the warm brandy and sat in the shower for a long time, ooooo it felt good just close my eyes and let it all out. then crash into bed.
Woke up past midnight answering some sms then it was back to bed again only to wake up like zombie today morning

Moving on
We all go through life moving on, some forward some stagnant, leaving kinder garden, school, university, companies and milestones. Especially in the office when you move on such milestone at the onset are hard to accept, but life does go on, you move on to new lives, new organizations, new atmosphere, new people.
You kept in touch with some but in the end this is your new life, your new environment.
Sooner or Later......
