Gosh what a way to remember 08 08 08

its 7 minutes past midnight

The Olympic Games opens in Beijing today, a dream of many years will be realized. The moment China has been working towards for seven years, the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games, got underway, I came back from a memorable lamb salad dinner with stains to remember then me and Junior Vadai lay side by side to watch an event not to be missed. Even mum stayed up to watch in awe

No way you could have missed this

Big question: how are they making the Chinese and Olympic flags flap as if in a typhoon when everyone in the stadium would give a kingdom for a simple breeze? hahaahahah

Memorable moments

Yao Ming the flag brearer for China walking it with a 9 year old tiny tot who not only survived the earthquake his name Lin Hao, the 9-year-old boy who saved two of his cousins in the aftermath of the Sichuan earthquake. Yao reached down to hold his hand when he came out, and next to the gigantic basketball player, the boy looked far younger than 9. what a gesture what a gesture,

Legendary Chinese gymnast Li Ning will light the cauldron to signify the start of the Games of the 29th Olympiac and the lighting ceremony was breathtaking, Li was lifted to the top of the stadium on a guidewire and appeared the run along the top edge of the stadium, a spectacular visual effect as he circled the roof holding the torch. Pictures the torch relay he was concluding filled the panels as he passed and then lighting a magical cauldron then even Junior Vadai Clapped

I was so impressed for me arguably the most spectacular way to light a cauldron – ranking near the archer that lit the flame in Barcelona in ‘92 – and held the crowd in thrall.

Next, the sky filled with a magnificent display of fireworks and the effect was complete.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
