Oh Boy!!!! - Quantum Leap

On March 26, 1989, NBC aired the pilot for a television show that would have a fan cult following years after the series had ended on May 5th, 1993. Combining science-fiction and drama with a hint of comedy and a splash of adventure, the series lasted four and a half seasons including ninety-five episodes.

From the producer of Magnum P.I., Airwolf, Battlestar Galactica, and JAG came the series fans still long for and newcomers become entranced by: Quantum Leap.

I am an "Oh Boy!" cult follower lol and this blog summarizes the adventures of Dr. Samuel Beckett and wisecraking observer Admiral "Al" Calavicci through time and space.

Project Quantum Leap led by Dr. Sam Beckett theorizing that "One could time-travel within his own lifetime, run by a supercomputer called Ziggy." Theorizing one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap Accelerator and vanished. He awoke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own, and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. His only guide on this journey is Al, an observer from his own time, who appears in the form of a hologram that only Sam can see and hear. And so, Dr Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping that each time his next leap would be the leap home.

I love the opening and the ending of episode make my sit on the edge of my seat
