My Wed

On the brighter shades of a Wednesday morning, 2 of my forum buddies from Singapore will be in KL from today and and tomorrow respectively. I actually will get to meet them Friday.

On the darker shades of a Wed morning, go to grab my fren some hospital stuff, towel and all since the parents are outstation. Once I reach there I will get a clear picture.

The office relocation, renovation and reposition from Menara Weld to here, with my Admin/HR manager on emergency leave it fell on me to coordinate this. Since yesterday I have been juggling and my Seremban trip took a lot out of me. Moving around with a groin injury is no small mater. Thank god I did not drive.

Today the major renovations should complete today, the furniture arriving by lunch time. The deployment of networking, pabx, electrical and aircond will take place over the next 2 days.

My principal and good friend is down from Australia so have to fit him in if possible and in the middle of all this out Company monthly birthday celebration is schedule for today.

Damm screwed up fucked up Q1

When family jewels hurt

Trauma to the testicles
Testicles are easily injured because they are not protected by muscle or bone. The type of injury could include ruptured blood vessels or tearing of the testicle.
Possible injuries include:
  • Penetrating (for example, stab wound)
  • Impact from a moving object (for example, a kick to the testicles)
This one very painful
  • Impact from hitting an immovable object (for example, a fall onto a hard surface).
Injuries to the testicles can be assessed by physical examination, ultrasound and MRI scan. If the testicles seem normal, the doctor may prescribe pain-killing medication. Any damage to the testicles must be surgically repaired. This is usually performed under general anaesthesia.

In severe cases of trauma, the testicle may be damaged beyond repair and must be removed. Fertility is not affected if one functioning testicle remains. (ok lets not go there now!!)

What is blood in urine (hematuria)?

Hematuria means blood in the urine. Microscopic hematuria indicates that the blood is only seen when the urine is examined under a microscope, while gross hematuria means that there is enough blood in the urine so that it can be seen with the naked eye.

Since blood in the urine must come from one of the organs involved in making or transporting the urine, the evaluation of hematuria requires that we consider the entire urinary tract.

Ok better stop here too much info

Tuesday Iitnerary

Skip an MRI request from a doc.

Groin Injury

Let me start by saying OUCH!!!!

I believe with my limited medical knowledge I have injuired my groin. Not enough wiht ym sms battle and being kicked accidently in the family jewels, I had a re occurance of the groin injury

So wat is a groin injury?

Groin Strain

Definition

A groin strain is a partial tear of the small fibers of the adductor muscles. The adductors are a group of three muscles located on the inner side of the thigh. They start in the groin area and run down the inner thigh to the inner side of the knee.

Muscles of the Groin

A groin strain can be caused by:

* Stretching the adductor muscles beyond the amount of tension that they can withstand
* Suddenly putting stress on the adductor muscles when they are not ready for the stress
* Using the adductor muscles too much on a certain day
* A direct blow to the adductor muscles

Risk Factors

A risk factor is something that increases your chance of getting an injury. Risk factors for a groin strain include:

* Participation in sports that require bursts of speed, such as:
o Running
o Hurdles
o Long jump
o Basketball
o Soccer
o Football
o Rugby
* Fatigue
* Tight groin muscles
* Overexertion
* Cold weather

Symptoms

Symptoms include:

* Pain and tenderness in the groin area
* Stiffness in the groin area
* Weakness of the adductor muscles
* Bruising in the groin area (if blood vessels are broken)
* Popping or snapping sensation as the muscle tears (possibly)

Now the frigging doc want me to go for an MRI? Like as if I did nto have enough expences. sheessh

When is personal too personal

What started out as a routine sms turned out to an all out debate/war over the nature of MY BLOG and why I blog what I blog. Amazing.

Started out by someones asking whose baby it was and I replied mine hahaha ( an attempt to close the subject). Unfortunately the matter did not end there. It went on and on and on.

Here is a reality check, when you blog ur vulnerable to comments and opinions, that part and parcel, I take them in my stride, but if a blogger does not wish to to into the depths of his blog and choose not to answer take a big hint DONT FUCKING ASK ANYMORE!

So....How personal is too personal?
Back when I started blogging, I always imagined that my blogs were something that only me, and a few personal friends would read.

I now realise that that no longer is the truth, after 794 posts and xxx page views every month, from over different IP addresses. Some may be one-time visitors, and others may be returning visitors. The first question that springs to mind is: Who reads this blog? I know some members in my family does, some of my friends, some of my enemies and strangers form all over. It does not matter to me.

When I 1st started blogging I posted this remark in my profile
things that make u go hmmm... I learn in many ways then one that I am an average joe.. a human being, being myself in spot in my world and sharing it with others...dat makes me human...yeah I have my up's and downs... but who doesn't. Is the world fundamentally a better place because of science and technology? We shop at home, we surf the web... at the same time, we feel emptier, lonelier and more cut off from each other than at any other time in human history…..being a human

Quote
The second, important question is: How personal is too personal for a blog? In attempting to satisfy “Human Interest”, and the need to get stuff off one’s chest, where should one draw the line in writing about one’s personal losses and victories? Many examples of blogs where people just go too far, and end up stigmatizing themselves?

Yours truly has been in that position.

So came the remark if blogs are personal why have comments on them.
I think one of the more compelling things about blogging has to be the feedback. Having people feel the same way you do, understand where you are coming from and spend the time to let you know they agree is just a satisfying and fulfilling side effect of writing online. Comments dun mean to ask more then your supposed to even if you know the person personally.

It basically boils down to this, weather in blog or in life or daily conversations/gossip if the other party dun want to talk about it DONT FUCKING ASK ANYMORE!

It cannot be more simple then that and yet people make it difficult

Amazingly Jnr Vadai understood better then people around me. Dun make life complicate... keep it simple

Who does not know this song?

I been hearing a lot of nostalgic songs over the period of time.... This aussie num that I have learn in kindergerden is both awesome and mostalgic. when you head a bunch of aussie sing this some...some of them even have shed tears.

Damm solid

Waltzing Matilda is sometimes performed as a brisk march; but I'd much rather hear it played in sad, almost wistful measures.

The song narrates the story of an itinerant worker making a crude cup of tea at a bush camp and stealing a sheep to eat. When the sheep's owner arrives with three police officers to arrest the itinerant worker, he drowns himself in a small lake and haunts the site.

Once a jolly swagman camped by a billabong,
Under the shade of a coolibah tree,
And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled,
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?
Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda,
Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?"
And he sang as he watched and waited till his billy boiled,
"Who'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me?"

Down came a jumbuck to drink at the billabong:
Up jumped the swagman and grabbed him with glee.
And he sang as he shoved that jumbuck in his tucker-bag,
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me.
Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda,
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me."
And he sang as he shoved that jumbuck in his tucker-bag,
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me."

Up rode a squatter, mounted on his thoroughbred;
Down came the troopers, one, two, three:
"Who's that jolly jumbuck you've got in your tucker-bag?
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me!
Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda,
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me.
Who's that jolly jumbuck you've got in your tucker-bag?
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me!"

Up jumped the swagman and sprang into the billabong;
"You'll never catch me alive!" said he;
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that billabong,
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me!
Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda,
You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me!"
And his ghost may be heard as you pass by that billabong,
"You'll come a-waltzing Matilda with me!"

* swagman: an intinerant farmhand, carrying his "swag" (his blankets) rolled into a cylinder
* billabong: a creek (normally with a pronounced "oxbow" bend)
* coolibah tree: a eucalypt (gum) tree )
* waited till his billy boiled: a billy is a tin can used to heat water over a campfire to make tea
* jumbuck: sheep
* tucker-bag: bag or box used to store food
* squatter: farmer/grazier who simply found good land and took possession; some became extremely rich
* trooper: policeman or soldier on horseback

word of honour

1. A promise or assurance which cannot be broken without disgrace.

Poeple sometimes dun keep their word in what they had commited to a few weeks ago, when the dead line appears they give all sorts of excuses. A lesson well learned never to depend on these kind of people who cant deliver

For my Bro Commie

Salmonella - Beware

What are Salmonella?

Salmonella are bacteria. The Salmonella consist of a range of very closely related bacteria, many of which cause disease in humans and animals.

What is salmonellosis?

Salmonellosis is an infection with a bacteria called Salmonella. Most persons infected with Salmonella develop diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps 12 to 72 hours after infection. The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days, and most persons recover without treatment. However, in some persons the diarrhea may be so severe that the patient needs to be hospitalized. In these patients, the Salmonella infection may spread from the intestines to the blood stream, and then to other body sites and can cause death unless the person is treated promptly with antibiotics. The elderly, infants, and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness.

How do people catch Salmonella?

Salmonella live in the intestinal tracts of humans and other animals, including birds. Salmonella are usually transmitted to humans by eating foods contaminated with animal feces. Contaminated foods usually look and smell normal. Contaminated foods are often of animal origin, such as beef, poultry, milk, or eggs, but all foods, including vegetables may become contaminated. Many raw foods of animal origin are frequently contaminated, but fortunately, thorough cooking kills Salmonella. Food may also become contaminated by the unwashed hands of an infected food handler, who forgot to wash his or her hands with soap after using the bathroom.

Don McLean - Vincent

Woke up today mornig inthe hosp with Jnr Vadai snuggly asleep with the song by Don Mclean playing. You may ask who but when you hear the songd like American Pie and all and you say aaaahh thats him. The sonlg that played was Vincent.

Don McLean (born October 2, 1945 in New Rochelle, New York) is an American inger-songwriter. He is most famous for his 1971 ballad American Pie. American Pie is an eight-and-a-half minute long soft rock song by singer-songwriter Don McLean about "the day the music died."

The song "Vincent" is a song by Don McLean written as a tribute to Vincent Van Gogh the artist, the painter. It is also known by its opening line, "Starry Starry Night", a reference to Van Gogh's painting Starry Night.

As far as the song goes as a tribute to van Gogh as the man himself, the song reflects on the lack of recognition that van Gogh received. In each chorus, McLean says "They would not listen / they did not know how / perhaps they'll listen now," except in the final verse, McLean says "They would not listen / They're not listening still / Perhaps they never will". This is the story of van Gogh: unrecognised as an artist until after his death.

Don McLean - Vincent

Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul...
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land.

Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen; they did not know how --
Perhaps they'll listen now.

Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand.

Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen; they did not know how --
Perhaps they'll listen now.

For they could not love you
But still, your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do --
But I could've told you, Vincent:
This world was never meant
For one as beautiful as you.

Starry, Starry night
Portraits hung in empty halls
Frameless heads on nameless walls
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget
Like the strangers that you've met
The ragged men in ragged clothes
The silver thorn, a bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow.

Now I think I know
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen; they're not listening still --
Perhaps they never will...

Everytime I hear this song I am moved. Its a good song I would listen to...........

Help comes in unexpected ways

Help comes in various shapes, forms and sometimes unexpectedly form people you did not expect. No matter if it is advise, support, finance or even just a shoulder. Thats the magic of the word help.

When your back is to the wall or when it seem no doors open up, out of the blue someone from somewhere steps forward and takes one for the team. Words cant express the thankfulness or gratitude and you hope that one day you will take one for the team also.

For me I am not still out of the wood yet, maybe I just bought a little more time. The reality is I have to soldier on.

To those who have helped. Thanks

Jnr Vadai is getting better and that all that matters.

The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams

When I was young there were many a series, cartoons and movies showed over the telly that I would love to watch one of them was this. It was nice and memorable to watch Adams and the bear named Ben and of coz mad jack and the donkey named number 7... out of the blue I started humming the theme song to this heheh Its a lovely meaningful theme song

The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams Theme Lyrics

Maybe by Thom Pace - The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams Lyrics

Deep inside the forest is a door into another land
Here is a life and home we are staying
Here forever in the beauty of this place all alone
We keep on hoping.

Maybe, there's a world where we don't have to run
Maybe, there's a time we call our own
Living free in harmony and majesty
Take me home, take me home

Walking through the land where every living thing is beautiful
Why does it have to end ?
We are calling all so sadly
On the whispers of the wind as we send
A dieing message.

Maybe, there's a world where we don't have to run
Maybe, there's a time we call our own
Living free in harmony and majesty
Take me home, take me home.

Maybe, there's a world where we don't have to run
Maybe, there's a time we call our own
Living free in harmony and majesty
Take me home, take me home.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Grizzly Adams is the main character from The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams, a 1974 film. Produced by Sunn Classic Pictures, the movie spawned a television series of the same name in 1977. The title character was loosely based on an actual trapper, James/John Capen "Grizzly" Adams.

Grizzly Adams is a woodsman who fled into the mountains when he was wrongly accused of murder. While struggling to survive, Adams discovers an orphaned grizzly bear cub whom he takes in and calls Ben. The bear, despite his huge adult size, becomes Adams' closest companion. Adams has an uncanny link to most of the indigenous wildlife of the region, who have no fear of him. In return, he resolves never to harm another animal whenever possible.

In the television series, Adams has two human companions, an old trader named Mad Jack the Mountain Man (Denver Pyle, commonly featured with a mule named "Number Seven") and a Native American named Nakoma (Don Shanks). Together, they help various visitors while protecting the wildlife. The series is also notable for its theme song, "Maybe" by Thom Pace, which is goodhearted tune about love, sorrow and friendship.

The series concluded with a 1982 TV movie called The Capture of Grizzly Adams where a bounty hunter used Adams' hitherto unknown daughter to draw him back to civilization. In the end, Adams proves his innocence.

Incubus - Drive

Read the lyrics of this song then go and listen to the acoustic version.... it will blow ur mind....

This song is an expression of his dissatisfaction with the way he lives. He is tired of letting society, culture or "the hive" drive his life. Now, he's taking the wheel into his own hands. Even if it means not being accepted by the hive or sacrificing a comfortable lifestyle, he wants to be the one in control of his life. hint hint hahahaha

simply put, choose water over wine...do the right things even though you may not like that choice the best, willing to accept what life brings, be in control of where youre going, MAKE YOURSELF get there...good advice for the young adult

Vadai's way

enjoy the lyrics

Sometimes, I feel the fear of uncertainty stinging clear.
And I can't help but ask myself
how much I'll let the fear take the wheel and steer.
It's driven me before,
and it seems to have a vague,
haunting mass appeal.
But lately I am beginning to find
that I should be the one behind the wheel.
Whatever tomorrow brings,
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes.
Whatever tomorrow brings,
I'll be there I'll be there
So if I decide to waiver my chance to be
one of the hive will I choose water over wine
and hold my own and drive?
It's driven me before and it seems to be the way
that everyone else gets around.
But lately I'm beginning to find
that when I drive myself my light is found.
Whatever tomorrow brings,
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes.
Yeah. Whatever tomorrow brings
Would you choose water over wine....
hold the wheel and drive?
Whatever tomorrow brings,
I'll be there with open arms and open eyes.
Whatever tomorrow brings,
I'll be there I'll be there

Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (Coxsackie viral infection)

What is hand, foot and mouth disease?

Hand, foot and mouth disease is a viral infection caused by a strain of Coxsackie virus. It causes a blister-like rash that, as the name implies, involves the hands, feet and mouth. (Hand, foot and mouth disease is different than foot-and-mouth disease, which is an infection of cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and deer and is caused by a different virus.)

Who gets hand, foot and mouth disease?

Usually this occurs in children under 10 years old, but occasionally can occur in young adults.

How is it spread?

The virus is spread by direct contact with nose and throat discharges, blisters and feces of infected people.

What are the symptoms and when do they start?

Symptoms of fever, poor appetite, runny nose and sore throat can appear three to five days after exposure. A blister-like rash on the hands, feet and in the mouth usually develops one to two days after the initial symptoms.

When and how long can someone spread the disease?

A person is contagious when the first symptoms appear and may continue until the blister-like skin lesions disappear. The virus has been known to be shed in the stool for up to several weeks.

How is hand, foot and mouth disease diagnosed?

The diagnosis is generally suspected on the appearance of blister-like rash on hands and feet and mouth in a child with a mild febrile illness. Although specific viral tests are available to confirm the diagnosis, they are rarely performed due to expense and length of time needed to complete the tests.

Does a prior infection with Coxsackie virus make a person immune?

Specific immunity can occur, but a second episode is possible from a different strain of Coxsackie virus.

What is the treatment?

There is no specific treatment. Treatment is aimed at fever control and maintaining good oral hydration.

Can there be complications associated with hand, foot and mouth disease?

The illness is typically mild, complications are rare. More serious infections have been seen recently with a certain strain of Coxsackie viral infection in Indonesia.

What can be done to prevent the spread of this disease?

Children who feel ill or have a fever should be excluded from group settings until the fever is gone and the child feels well. Thorough handwashing and care with diaper changing practices is important as well.

My Monday Futsal

After a long layoff I stepped on the the futsal court and boy did I pay for it. Playing 4 on 4 which required a lot of running I was pumped out by 15 minutes.. rotating keeper position then back into play when it was 5 on 5 I score fluke goals and blasted a few beauties. Its all in the heart.

At one point were leading 16-9 when my team mate asked me why we still at 9 , I told him we were leading he did not belief, my sarcastic remark to him was, why you think I am scoring so many goals.

Indeed I was, never have I found the back of the net this many times also contributing to half of the goals.

Jen was awesome in goal but snookered himself infront of goal, then again I rather have him on my team then anyone else.

I was a good day and I was hapi

Jen thanks for the lemons

Boooya,

Better pat my back

A bone to chew on

History is nothing but a set of circumstances that been agreed upon by the common that's the way history has been.

History will choose to reflect when it is convenient to the common to use it as a yard stick.

Being the thick headed jackass I can be at time I pick up the dog bone and chewed in it into the wee hours of yesterday morning.

Over what you say? a simple blog that I put on a song Evanescence - Call Me When You're Sober

That became a catalyst for an issue that the song reflected to me something of me past as they say part of history. Give me a break.

So last night feeling like Optimus Prime after one to many oil change I decided to pick the gauntlet up and charge lol

Nice to be able to go ballistic once a while without having to fear the repercussion maybe by that what its feel like to let it off once a while.

There was nothing malicious in the intent or the content but a mere whiplash effect of being often measure by a yardstick of my past then a true reflection of the present.

Did it serve its purpose? Nah it did not but it felt damm good not to be on the receiving end once a while.

There be more.

All because of a song or a couple of song I choose to put in my blog that someone read and decided to comment on it to me personally to me. Bad move laddie bad move

St Patrick Day - Review

St.Patrick's day for me was a lovely memory.

My Saturday started off recovering fomr a crazy Friday and a conference call over lunch. Soon Commie joined me and my cousin who I did not plan on inviting.

I did not mega sms anyone about it or organize a big jing-bang group to go there was more of my trying to be by myself and enjoying myself and in fact I did.

Commie is the kindof the guy who can leave you alone if you want to and enjoy any occasion by himself, the kind of guy who knows when to shut up lol I think I am quite the oppositel. Why P showed up? How it materailized I do not know.

I went alone AND ENJOYED MYSELF and that what it is all about.

It was awesome they had a stage, games, a parade music all with irish flavour

Heck I was irish for a day

There were clowns the crowd was lovely... met a few new friends

Heck we got our faces painted..... drank black beer, duck a few girls into the tub ( well at least P did not once but twice)

Won a few prizes like a money clip and stress reliefers

My best shot with my Nokia was the one below

Dreaming of worm

Worms coming out of your body or scrawling all over you. Generally such a dream leaves you feeling nauseated and fearful that you might fall victim to an illness.

Various version of interpretation

Version1
Worm

To see a worm in your dream, represents weakness and general negativity. You have a very low opinion of yourself or of someone in your life.
To dream that the worm is crawling on your body, indicates that you feel someone around you is taking advantage of your and feeding off your kind heartedness.

Note: This group got a lot around me

Version 2
According to Indian thought, such dreams foretell a reversal of fortune. To see small worms scrawling all over you is an indication of worries, hurdles and ill-luck coming your way. It warns you to be careful as, unknown to you, certain enemies might be working against you. Even the smallest act of carelessness can wreck havoc.

Note : This also got a few people ready to throw a spanner

F1 Australian Grand Prix

Move over Michael, Kimi’s come in the iceman cometh

Kimi Raikkonen has won his first race in a Ferrari and the 10th of his career with a dominant performance in today’s 2007 FORMULA 1™ ING Australian Grand Prix.

Kimi was awesome as usually but the driver of the day and someone we should be aware of is this guy Lewis Hamilton, McLaren’s hope for the future.

Formula 1 has discovered Lewis Hamilton, watching the Black British driver take to his team mata Alonso definately the guy to watch in F1 this year. A danger to Ferrari

The stunning story of rookie Lewis Hamilton goes on as the 22-year-old Englishman brought his McLaren home for third place a further 11.3 seconds behind his team leader.

Hamilton actually led his first Grand Prix when Raikkonen pitted after 19 laps, lost the lead when he made his own first flawless stop and was later overhauled by Alonso in the second wave of stops.

Reflection 1st Quarter

For people who have incurable cancer and for those who love them.

Today you've got the strength of a bull in your neck
And the strength of a bear in your arms,
But some 0' these days, some 0' these days,
You'll have a hand-to-hand struggle with bony Death,
And Death is bound to win.
James Weldon Johnson, "The Prodigal Son" in God's Trombones

Facing death is evitable, with all that right and wrong in this world, with all thats cruel and the viciousness of life taken away we read daily in the papers , the most unexpected blow to anyone will be death of someone close or the impending death.

When you know someone if gonna die and to live with that knowledge is something never so easy... many a times I watch TV shows where doctors have to break the news of death or illness there is no point of return. Telling someone they will die in a matter of time is a world of a difference.

Dying of old age is different but dying of an illness, being diagnosed with it is a burden I wish upon no living soul. This year 1 had left me another diagnosed to leave us and 3rd I learned not to long ago.

There is little that I can say to someone who is facing impending death that will ease his/her burden. I usually come back to what my father used to say to me (and what I now tell my children) when I was faced with an impossible and painful situation. He would tell me "Yes, it's terrible and it hurts --but that's the way it is."

Oh Gods of Cricket

Zimbabwe, Ireland tie match

AFP

Zimbabwe and Ireland played to a thrilling tie in a tense finish to their ICC CWC Group D match at Sabina Park here on Thursday.

Opener Jeremy Bray carried his bat for an undefeated 115 off 137 balls, his second one-day international hundred, to give Ireland a sniff of a chance with a respectable total of 221 for nine off their allocation of 50 overs.

The Zimbabweans appeared to be on course for victory on 203 for five, but they lost their last five wickets for 18 runs in the space of 38 balls to give Ireland a memorable finish to their first match in the ICC CWC.

There have only been two other tied matches in ICC CWC history - South Africa, chasing 213, tied with Australia in 1999 at Birmingham, and Sri Lanka, chasing a revised target of 230 off 45 overs, tied with the Proteas in 2003 at Durban.

ABBA - The Winner Takes It All

I don't wanna talk
About the things we've gone through
Though it's hurting me
Now it's history
I've played all my cards
And that's what you've done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play

The winner takes it all
The loser standing small
Beside the victory
That's her destiny

I was in your arms
Thinking I belonged there
I figured it made sense
Building me a fence
Building me a home
Thinking I'd be strong there
But I was a fool
Playing by the rules

The gods may throw a dice
Their minds as cold as ice
And someone way down here
Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all
The loser has to fall
It's simple and it's plain
Why should I complain.

But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say
Rules must be obeyed

The judges will decide
The likes of me abide
Spectators of the show
Always staying low
The game is on again
A lover or a friend
A big thing or a small
The winner takes it all

I don't wanna talk
If it makes you feel sad
And I understand
You've come to shake my hand
I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
Seeing me so tense
No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all
The winner takes it all...

St Partick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is Ireland's greatest national holiday as well as a holy day. The date marks the anniversary of the death of the missionary who became the patron saint of Ireland. It is a happy holiday for the Irish wherever they may be - in Dublin, New York City, Boston, or San Francisco. The day celebrated with parades, speeches, festive dinners, and dances. Green is the color of the day, with thousands of little cloth shamrocks worn even by those whose forefathers never touched the shores of Ireland.

The first St. Patrick's Day parade took place not in Ireland, but in the United States. Irish soldiers serving in the English military marched through New York City on March 17, 1762. Along with their music, the parade helped the soldiers to reconnect with their Irish roots, as well as fellow Irishmen serving in the English army. Suddenly, annual St. Patrick's Day parades became a show of strength for Irish Americans, as well as a must-attend event for a slew of political candidates. In 1948, President Truman attended New York City 's St. Patrick's Day parade, a proud moment for the many Irish whose ancestors had to fight stereotypes and racial prejudice to find acceptance in America.

Saint Patrick's Day is celebrated worldwide by Irish people and increasingly by many of non-Irish descent (Usually in the US and Ireland) hence the phrase "Every one wants to be Irish on St.Patricks day". Celebrations are generally themed around all things green and Irish; both Christians and non-Christians celebrate the secular version of the holiday by wearing green, eating Irish food, imbibing Irish drink, and attending parades.

In Malaysia me and Commie are Irish tomorrow wakakakakaka

World Cup 2007

As expected Aussie win

Australia crush Scotland by 203 runs

AFP

Ricky Ponting hammered his 23rd one-day century and Glenn McGrath took three wickets to give Australia a thumping ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 203-run win over Scotland here on Wednesday, the second biggest win in the tournament's history.

The Australian skipper notched a 93-ball, 113 to propel the defending champions to 334-6 before the Aussie pace attack proved too hot for the Scotsmen who were bowled out for 131 in 40.1 overs.

Few days back

I had written about assumption... today would be no different, maybe i am weak to allow myself to be subjected to people who have an opinion bout what I write here, bout my action, my thoughts, my way of life that I have chosen. Maybe I am just to nice to the people who talk to me, sms me, chat with me, bending way over back to accommodate such situations.

Maybe that the way I am.

Few days back Svejjen related to me a intellectual discourse he had will Commie bout Theology.

The word 'theology' has classical Greek origins, but was slowly given new senses when it was taken up in both Greek and Latin forms by Christian authors. It is the subsequent history of the term in Christian contexts, particularly in the Latin West, that lies behind most contemporary usage, but the term can now be used to speak of reasoned discourse within and about a variety of different religious traditions.

Today I can speak about God bout religion but any religion, way of life and belief because to a certain extent..A religion is a set of beliefs and practices generally held by a human community, so on and so forth then you have GOD.

Nowe my blog is not a forum to debate out such thing but in my humble opinion, even an Atheist like me. Yes I am on am qualified to talk bout such thing even though I dun believe in them.

There is no one on this place we call earth can stop another bout talking about other belief so long it is done gentlemanly. Thats called an intellectual discourse. Do not for a second try to use the punch line just coz does not believe in God he/she not qualified to talk bout it

Hey its Free Speech dude... its free speech

James Taylor - Carolina In My Mind

I was entertaining some client at HRC then Crossroad when I heard Mark playing, the conversation stopped ans we all enjoyed the song.

Ironically some people take other poeple song and make deductions on why they posted the song. Sigh

Song have innuendos and there are fuel to fire. Sometimes we got to appreciate the song for what it is

James Taylor - Carolina In My Mind

In my mind I'm goin' to Carolina
Can't you see the sunshine
Can't you just feel the moonshine
Maybe just like a friend of mine
It hit me from behind
Yes I'm goin' to Carolina in my mind

Karin she's a silver sun
You best walk her way and watch it shinin'
Watch her watch the mornin' come
A silver tear appearing now I'm cryin'
Ain't I goin' to Carolina in my mind

There ain't no doubt it no ones mind
That loves the finest thing around
Whisper something soft and kind
And hey babe the sky's on fire, I'm dyin'
Ain't I goin' to Carolina in my mind

In my mind I'm goin' to Carolina
Can't you see the sunshine
Can't you just feel the moonshine
Maybe just like a friend of mine
It hit me from behind
Yes I'm goin' to Carolina in my mind

Dark and silent last last night
I think I might have heard the highway calling
Geese in flight and dogs that bite
Signs that might be omens say I going, going
I'm goin' to Carolina in my mind

With a holy host of others standing 'round me
Still I'm on the dark side of the moon
And it seems like it goes on like this forever
You must forgive me
If I'm up and gone to Carolina in my mind

In my mind I'm goin' to Carolina
Can't you see the sunshine
Can't you just feel the moonshine
Maybe just like a friend of mine
It hit me from behind
Yes I'm goin' to Carolina in my mind

Evanescence - Call Me When You're Sober

Evanescence was founded by singer, pianist and songwriter Amy Lee and former lead guitarist and songwriter Ben Moody.

* Amy Lee - vocals, piano, keyboard (co-founder, July 1994 - present)
* Terry Balsamo - guitar (November 2003 - present)
* John LeCompt - guitar, vocals (2002 - present)
* Tim McCord - bass (August 2006 - present)
* Rocky Gray - drums (2002 - present)

From the same group dat brought you Bring my to Life, this track is friggin cold and hauntign and hurting. Shows pain and emotions suppressed Damm kewl

Amy Lee said the song was not about Shaun Morgan but about former bandmate and ex boyfriend Ben Moody. She also said she didn't hate him, she just never wanted to talk to him again. That he was almost like a poison. Which makes sense with the you can't play the victim part of the song.

Don’t cry to me, If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me, Come find me
Make up your mind

Should I let you fall, And lose it all
So maybe you can remember yourself
Can’t keep believing, We’re only deceiving
Ourselves and I’m sick of the lie
And you’re too late

So don’t cry to me, If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me, Come find me
Make up your mind

Couldn’t take the blame, Sick with shame
Must be exhausting to loose your own game
Selfishly hated, No wonder you’re jaded
You can’t play the victim this time
And you’re too late

So don’t cry to me, If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me, Come find me
Make up your mind

You never call me when you’re sober
You only want it ‘cause it’s over,It’s over

How could I, Have burned paradise?
How could I?, You were never mine

So don’t cry to me, If you loved me
You would be here with me
Don’t lie to me, Just get your things
I’ve made up your mind
